Quick fixes

Common issues

Installation won't complete

Uninstall any other antivirus first (two real-time engines conflict), restart Windows, then run the SecureNxG installer as administrator. Make sure you have at least 2 GB of free disk space.

Definitions won't update

Check your internet connection and system clock — a wrong date breaks secure updates. Then open SecureNxG → Settings → Updates → Update now. Corporate networks may need the proxy configured.

PC feels slow during scans

Scheduled scans run when idle by default. If a manual scan is heavy, use Smart Scan instead of Full Scan for daily checks, and enable Silent Mode while gaming or presenting.

A safe file was flagged

Open Quarantine, select the file, and choose Restore & trust. Please also report the false positive to us by email — it helps us fix detection for everyone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 4 GB RAM, 2 GB free disk space, and an internet connection for activation and definition updates.
Yes. Uninstall SecureNxG from the old machine, then install and activate on the new one with the same license key. If activation complains about the device limit, email support and we'll release the old seat.
If SecureNxG isn't working out within 14 days of purchase, write to us with your order details and we'll refund you — no interrogation.
When SecureNxG's real-time shield is on, Windows Security automatically steps back as the active protection provider — standard behavior for third-party endpoint protection on Windows. Uninstalling SecureNxG hands protection back to Defender.
Windows Settings → Apps → SecureNxG → Uninstall. It removes cleanly and re-enables Windows Defender on the way out. We'd love to hear why you're leaving, but it's not a requirement.
